This is a sad day, it doesn’t matter who you are, this is sad. This cannot be condoned just as the Koran burning should not be swept under the rug. There is NO “allegeded” shooter, He did it. He had the smoking gun! There should be no psychiatric defense, this is a time of war. He should be tried as a “war criminal”. This person should be tried and convicted in Afghnistan and the Afghan courts ought to be able to issue the punishment
But, let’s be fair! Where were the Muslim leaders when Americans/Europeans were being beheaded? Where were they when the Bible was being burned/ripped up and thrown on the ground? There is not equality in the protests or the reporting of these incidents. The media in the world is slanted and really not worth reading anymore.
As an American, this sickens me, as a retired US military “Medic” I am nauseated, mad, tired. But, I am also tired of the world jumping on a broken down band wagon every time some stressed out GI goes berserk. Every counrties soldiers have stress and some on occasion go off the deep end. But, not one of you convicts THAT whole countries military over one incident. I’m tired of a Muslim “terrorist” killing multiple people and the Muslim community not condemning the act. It’s like it’s accepted. How utterly stupid is that. What kind of religion allows that? When the Major in the US went on his killing spree even the US Muslim community did not come out Strong Enough to condemn the act and what’s more Muslims in foreign countries celebrated his act! Who is the real sick one here?
I am quickly becoming one of those “old” retired guys that says, to hell with Afghanistan, bring our boys home!!! (And, I’ve been there three times!)

yeah your right, no one asked while Americans/Europians are being beheaded, but where ? in a non muslim country ? in USA ? in Europe? of course not, all in Muslim Countries, just becouse America and Europe want to destroy Muslim Countries. why they attack on muslim countries? and where have you seen a muslim burning Bible ? where have you seen a Muslim destroying a church? whatever is being done against non muslims are done by thier own, just to backbite the muslim community sir, so in this case if you think you can be fair, not to take side of that gunner whom killed innocent children,

I read the news, the white bearded old man had 8 children dead, ranging from 2 to 12 year olds. He may have an equal or twice the number of children from more wives. They breed like rats in the poor life and want to outnumber the rest of the world by population.

The last statement, “I am quickly becoming one of those “old” retired guys that says, to hell with Afghanistan, bring our boys home!!! (And, I’ve been there three times!)”, exactly reflects the mindset that resulted in the killing of 18 innocent Afghans by a US soldiers. These ‘our boys’ are simple, plain, cold blooded murderers.

Why did our boys come here in the first place?

Because your boys flew planes into our world trade center.

Because your boys formed Al Qaeda.

Because your boys formed the Taliban.

Because your boys deny women an education.

Because your boys do honor killings when it is not in the Quran.

Afghanis had no involvement in the 9/11 attacks. Read a book or something before you make such a stupid statement. Why not show a little concern for human life? Assholes like you are why so many people hate Americans.

Americans trained Al-Qaeda to hit and beat USSR, All Arabs were financed by the US forces, go back to 1980s and read your dirty CIA documents.

The Taliban did not attack your dirty business center and forming Taliban is non of your business….
If You are calling women education, the establishment of pornographic production centers in each city as you have in the least ethical country of the world, The United States, then keep that dirty education with yourself.

Do You know how many women are raped, abducted and tortured by men at your country. Go and read your each year statistic data! Go and deal with your own dirt first and then talk about others.

Now you will see the fist on your mouth and You will regret! You will See the United States 52 New countries in up coming decades and you all will regret on these massacres…..

Our boys didn’t do the9/11, it is done by US to find a pretext to come to Afghanistan in order to be at Iran and Central Asia’s countries where is fuel and Gas, we know that US has been supporting the Taliban during the past ten years, why? because they needed a pretext or excuse to stay here and finally establish military bases next to Iran, China and Russia.

I know we people also have problem, here is too much discriminations, Pashtons try to have everything in their own hand, they don’t accept Tajik, Hazar, Uzbik and other ethnic groups, and this is why always foriegners are successful to invade this country, if we were united and we accept each other then nobody could bring such a situation in our country, but still nobody should be happy about this sad occasion, these child, women and men were innocent people, why US don’t kill Taliban?

hope God bring real peace to this country.

        Khorasani ;

Keep talking of the truth of 9/11. I’ve been doing it since shortly after the event and I am happy to see you are not holding back.

I have to believe that the truth will be revealed, soon. Once enough of the mainstream public [the sheep], begin to think for themselves, the 9/11 truth an the Afgan truth will be accepted.

I have spent so many years learning and teaching people of what really happened on 9/11 focusing on the evidence. I failed to learn very much of the REASONS for our attack on our own people.

Thanks for giving me a little more information in that regard.

I am afraid you sound just like any other ignorant Yankee. If you read history (given you have the capacity to comprehend, which I seriously doubt) you’ll know it is you, the trigger happy Americans, who made Taliban/Mujahideens. And no one can condone the WTC bombing but I think your blood lust is unending. You have killed many times more people worldwide than got killed in New York. Women’s education?? That’s nice…..you educated them by killing them. Look at the pictures above and still no remorse. You Americans have beast mentality…..need to get a little civilised, it is high time now.

While we are entering the 11th year of fighting an undefeatable war in Afghanistan, and have lost more than 1900 troops, & spent more than $500 Billion… there is no end for this war, everyday there are casualties at both sides, we keep on blaming each other, Poverty is widespread, corruption endemic. Opium poppy production and illegal drug trafficking are a way of life. Even the promise of wealth that vast mineral deposits offer is years in the future. Afghan parliament members are still warlords… Bring our boys back home and put an end at this war!!!!!!!

This is just a display of what happens when you have an Army in a place with nothing to do. When there is no end game, no path to victory, no objectives, you just sit there day after day and watch your friends get blown up and mutilated. The mission is to drive around until someone blows you up. They have no intention of winning anything, just keep it going so the money keeps coming. The same thing happened in My Lai in Vietnam, only they killed the whole fucking village.
Every bomb is $1.00 a pound, every 50 cal round is $3.00, every shitty meal served by third world waiters is $5, all the stuff, all the waste, the soldiers are just a part of the machine and after several deployments, they get broken inside. I spent a tour in Vietnam and barely made it, these poor guys have done it over and over again.
It’s a filthy horrible game, projecting power, ” A global force for good”; sure 100 jet bombers and fighters on a $5B ship that goes 60 mph with 5,000 pissed off guys on board and the best pilots in the world. Sure….
This whole Middle East mess is like kicking around a hornet’s nest, keep kicking, keep getting stung. We should get out of there now, we should have never been there in the first place. When do the assholes get enough money???

I am so sorry. Words seem worthless, but know that so many American citizens are repulsed by the ‘forever’ war and the brutality.
Our leaders do not hear us. Our elections are rigged. We can’t demonstrate near our own elected officials as of last week. In all this madness, please know most Americans do not condone this craziness and horror. Many are protesting ongoing in many ways to return our government to reason.
Solidarity to all people of the world, who are under the grim thumb of the military industrial complex of the world. It is the same beast.

War and rumors of war are a part of the world’s history. Military and ciivilian lifes have been lost in every war ever fought. Is it right? I say no, but a whole country should no be condemed for the actions of a few. For those Americans who have never been in the military themselves they will never full undrstand the dinamics of that world. This also applies to those in other countries. Pulling out of a war is not as easy as turn off a light switch. I have love ones over there fighting in this mess and I would love for it to end so they can come home. The same bickering and fighting on this blog is the reason we are where we are now. Isolation is not the answer. God made all of this world and we will all by him and him alone believers and non-belivers alike. I pray that God ends this war soon. If we unable to live peacefullly then we should all stay in our own countries and deal with our own problems. I pray that the US government bring our troops home from everywhere and let other countries fight their own battles, since we are so hated by them.

As an American citizen, let me say that my scumbag countrymen here trying to rationalize this act of mass murder are inbred hillbilly losers trying to compensate for their tiny penises, their lack of heritage, and their lack of identity. Please ignore them and do not let their moronic views have any bearing on your opinions, judgement, or actions. They are are lying and they know it.

  22. Don Barksdale
    March 19, 2012 at 7:09 pm

General Sherman, can I call you Bill?
You assume a lot when you know nothing about what happened. You were not there, neither were any of us, this exchange of views is just people talking.
This incident is no more important than any other act of war. The Army is not there to win hearts and minds, it is there to project US power. What makes this any different than some Army dope sitting in an office in Virginia flying drones around and accidentally wiping out 30 Pakistani soldiers? Ops….sorry.. then go home to the wife and kids. Regardless of the circumstances, the people are still dead. If this actually went down as the story goes (which I seriously doubt), it is just a guy reaching his limits and using his weapons to try and accomplish something, anything to get himself out of this situation.
As an “American citizen” I doubt that you have ever faced anything remotely close to what these people are going through over there. If you have, you are not a very observant individual.

  23. GeneralSherman
    March 20, 2012 at 4:18 am

Don, no, you may not, and I know exactly what happened. A hillbilly version of one of the “bro” douches I went to high school with, the degerates who paid me to do their homework for them and to whom I lended lunch money to (but never asked for back; it was OK, I knew they were all from broken homes), found an outlet for his murderous nature, the US military. A murderous asshole who, in the US, would have been quickly caught, arrested, and executed after his first murder was given a full proof method of getting away with homicide. It’s either that or he’s another religious fanatic who is fortunate enough to be on the stronger side of the geopolitical spectrum. Forgive me if I can’t empathize with a bunch of high school dropout sociopaths who VOLUNTEERED to be over there getting paid to harass natives of the third world who they outnumber and outarm with state-of-the-art technology with Burger Kings on base. As an American citizen, I’m annoyed that my tax dollars are being spent on this garbage. I’ll worry about cave-dwelling denizens of Afghanistan who’ve never done anything to me or my family, who more than 99 % of the time are unarmed and, when they are, have nothing more than antiquated Soviet army surplus export material, who have no idea what or where the US is (yet apparently hate it because of its freedoms according to our cunt-servative media and retards who beleive it), when they arrive on my front lawn which any human being not suffering from retardation can tell you will be never.

  24. Don Barksdale
    March 20, 2012 at 5:45 am

No you don’t know what happened. And sorry you’ve had trouble growing up. You might try therapy, it isn’t that expensive and really helps people who have pent up anger issues. You are projecting your frustrations into a situation that you have nothing to do with; no connection, no knowledge, no experience. Your problems with growing up are distinctly separate from this dumbbell blowing away these people. Instead of worrying about “Cave dwelling denizens in Afghanistan” you probably should step back and look at why YOU are so pissed off about something you have no control over. Yes you are right that no Afghans are going to drop by the house, but some vets sure might and they don’t deserve ridicule like you hand out. Its easy to be an asshole sitting behind that computer screen.

I am an Indian on this day 23 rd march 1945 Bhagat Singh ,raj guru and sukh dev were given capital punishment. They were charged of throwing bombs in parliament where Britishers were present. Mind u the bombs they used were only to produce smoke n sound, not to hurt anyone. They wanted British to know that Indian youth can also adopt to violence to free their country but we won’t. Rather they happily embraced to die by hands of British so that a revolution comes. We Indians believe in non violence.

The results of conflict are always appalling. If it were at all possible, there’d be no such conflict, it would simply cease to exist. But being human is the reason there will always be such. The answer has never been war, but mutual understanding and of course respect for another’s point of view, even when we might disagree. What happened to these innocent people, these children, was not the result of conflict/war, but the result of one man’s decision to place himself above everyone else, to do as he desired, and so any blame is his, alone. Certainly the United States has no legitimate reason to occupy Afghanistan in the first place, but instead says it is there to fight and destroy al Qaeda as to make the world a safer place for everyone. Doesn’t the US realize that they cannot possibly hope to accomplish such an idelaistic notion? Nothing productive will come from it’s decades-long occupation. It will eventually leave this country to it’s own demise, whatever that may entail just as it had done in Iraq. Many people on both sides died as a result of such idealistic notions and geopolitical agendas. History has taught us that much, that war accomplishes little..Why do some continue to fail to see that simple truth?

Don, thank you for proving to me what an inbred retard you are. It’s pretty clear to everybody what happened when our military-sympathetic media allows us to view this much. For your information, I had a happy childhood, but not because inbred retards such as yourself were going around massacring children in third-world countries on my behalf. Again, given that we know this much, my first instinct is to assume it’s even worse. I don’t know what secret explanation you think there could possibly be for this murderous asshole getting up in the middle of the night to murder 16 sleeping people, most of whom were women and children. I do have a connection to it in that MY FUCKING TAX DOLLARS are being spent on this hillbilly-welfare scheme that just presents a worse and worse image of our country abroad. Like a true apologist for terror, are you actually making a vain attempt to psychoanalyze me? It can’t possibly be that I’m disgusted by the state-sponsored murders of human beings and the subhuman national mentality that enables such a massacre? Why am I disgusted by something I have no control over? I don’t know, Don, maybe because 16 people were fucking murdered you idiot? If any pan-handling vets do stop by my house, I’ll be sure to tell them to shove their hand-out clasping hands up their asses. Yes, they do deserve ridicule. Again, my tax dollars are paying for this asinine horse shit of a travesty and they are in their current employ on a completely volunteer basis. I wouldn’t know how it feels to be “an asshole sitting behind that computer screen” but I’m sure you know how it is to be an asshole sitting behind a computer screen who rationalizes murder.

Pakistani power, having met only decent Pakistanis, I doubt you are one yourself. Whatever ethnic background you really are, you are a retard. Please kill yourself because humanity cannot afford to have somebody as dumb as yourself reproduce.
