People cover their noses from the smell of burnt bodies in a warehouse on August 27, 2011 in Tripoli, Libya. Up to 150 people were found dead, 53 bodies were burnt in a warehouse in the last few days. The victims are believed to be Libyan civilians arrested by pro-Gaddafi loyalists for interrogation. As the Libyan rebel forces were advancing, the pro-Gaddafi forces acted to cover up the bodies of the people they were interrogating, they threw in grenades and then had subsequently set fire to tyres inside of the warehouse to cover up the bodies, locals said. This photo looks fake as hell to me. First none of the walls are charred. For that much damaged to have happened that place would have probable been burned to the ground.
Also what level of torture can open chests and skulls like that. It looks like the bodies were put into a mixer. These murders happened elsewhere if they were even murders. It could have been dug up bodies and placed there.
Media Manipulation on lybia reportings is currently relatively high. I would say 50% are fake what is an immense quota!
Please change to headline. We don’t know if it was Pro-Gaddafi troops. We need to be accurate and should not repeat mainstream propaganda.
«For that much damaged to have happened that place would have probable been burned to the ground.»
You speak from experience?
wish they were fakes , but they are not! residents who lived close by witnessed the massacar , heard the shooting , that warehouse was right next door to Khamis compound. Why don’t u want to believe it? The regime was evil. They didn’t mention in the report that 2 soliders outside lay shot with their hands tied behind their back , this is was they did to soliders who refused to shoot.! A school of army cadets had the same fate , some as young as 13YR!I live in Libya and hear the people and see on the local tv , they don’t talk without proof. One of my students brother was a cadet , another students cousin was shot in Bin Jawid when they stopped the so called peace bus and were ambushed by G loyalist. Will u say thats all fake?
I think the roof was badly damaged by fire but if that means there were burnt there, we cant say.
Ofcourse this is all taking place beacuse gaddafi wanted to change the currency to gold and exchange oil for gold. that would have destroyed the banking system.
all these nato countrys have in commen is that there broke…
propaganda games are been played, its important that we are anti nato! if your not you are supporting all of this pointless death beacuse the would cant afford gaddafis dream of making africa more indipendent.
making gaddafi a boogie man by showing these storys is not working. people are questioning these “odd” stories. but the bottom line is that people are dieing! stop this!
This went way too far. I get that he was a brutal dictator, however everyone, including us in NATO countries that made this possible, we should all be ashamed of ourselves, we seen him alive and in custody. The rebels turned out to be worse than Gaddafi, as we are now learning they want to oppress Lybia even more than Gaddafi ever did, we are hearing horrible reports about some crap that these brutal rebel forces want to bring in the most oppressive type of rule on the planet! Shira Law. If we in the west allow these rebels to keep control after the sick acts they have committed and now want the most oppressive system on earth, we will be no better than the rebels and they have proved themselves to be no better, perhaps worse than Gaddafi, all this for oil, makes me sick! At least we have heard that the US and the rest of NATO do not plan to allow it. Gaddafi would of kicked their asses if not for us in the west. I feel ashamed now , that we have allowed this to happen. Well, they won’t get their oppressive Shira Law, the west will make sure of that, thankfully.
