if the account is mine, why do i need a court order or a subpena to get the records for something that i have paid for and that you have archived? i have multiple lines on my account and i need to have the text messages from 1 of those lines to help support a court case i have. i would appreciate a response to what direction i need to go from here.

The AT&T Subpoena Center cannot provide any text message contents, bot because they shouldn’t respond to a court order, but because they are technically unable. Text messaging represents a clever way for dishonest people to avoid detection by law enforcement. While in my specific case, it involves fraud relating to drug traffiicking, the potential for abuse for the purpose of terrorism is extreme.I was advised by a competent customer service person that he only way to be able to recover text messages was to have an Android phone with AT&T Messaging Service which is beyond the standard text messaging service offered.

Everyone in this site that is requesting records of phone calls and text messages between specific time frames on your own account, you are aware that you can pull that info on AT&Ts site under billing details. It even puts the info in pretty charts too.

Is the fax number (888) 938-4715, the correct number to send a subpoena to receive phone records?
