Washington D.C. ShotSpotter Shooting Incidents Data January 2006-June 2013

The following spreadsheet contains data on every ShotSpotter-detected gunfire incident in Washington D.C. Districts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 from January 27, 2006 to June 24, 2013. The data was obtained by Carlton Purvis via a public records request using Muckrock.com. The data was the basis for a Washington Post article published November 2, 2013. Though the article includes a number of pretty graphics and informative explications of the ShotSpotter system, it does not link to nor provide access to the raw data that was used to compile the report.
