The website http://msn.whitepages.com was brought to our attention as an officer safety concern due to the ease in which personal information, such as home address, could be obtained. This bulletin will provide you with information on how to remove your name and personal information from the list:

• In your internet browser type in “http://msh.whitepages.com in the URL address bar
• Type in your name under “People Search”.

• If your name appears click on the details button
• Scroll down near the bottom of the page to the “White pages.com Privacy Options” section and click on “Is this you? Remove from listing” link.

The information was removed within a couple of minutes; however, it can take up to 5 days per the website.
