The following photos are from a collection housed at Bancroft Library at the University of California at Berkeley.  The photos span from 1942-1945 at various internment camps around the U.S. operated by the War Relocation Authority.

These photos and videos depict a New York Police Department Lieutenant named Connolly striking protesters blindly with a baton.  This man has been identified as Lt. Brian Connolly of the 9th Precinct, who was awarded the Medal for Valor in 2007.

These formerly classified photos are part of a series released by the German artist Simon Menner that he reportedly obtained from the Stasi archives.  This particular set demonstrates Stasi agents demonstrating different techniques for disguising themselves.  Blurring of the eyes in one of the photos was performed by the artist.
