1. The signature for an Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP) – devise a sensor suite to recognize the signature and defeat the EFP

3. Stand-off detection of Improvised Explosive Devices and their components
4. Better ways to detect other components of Improvised Explosive Devices such as passive infra-red sensors and command wires in urban and rural terrain
5. New sensors for the growing set of Unmanned Aerial Vehiclebased Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs
